1 Palette, 3 Eyeshadow Looks using Makeup Revolution Re-Loaded Visionary
Posted on February 01 2019
I hope you are doing well and had a great week!
In this week’s blog post, I wanted to share 3 looks that I did with the Makeup Revolution Re-Loaded Visionary Eyeshadow Palette.
I have a lot of palettes in my collection. To use them all, I force myself into a kind of rotation. Each week, I decide on a palette to use.
For the next weeks, I will be using my Re-Loaded palettes. These palettes are one of Makeup Revolution’s and Orabel’s Best Sellers.
I love all of these little palettes. Each one has a colour scheme and is well put together. You will find in each a balance of matte and shimmer eyeshadows!
Of course, I have my favourites :). But I think they are all worth it.
Ultra Violet was the Pantone of The Year 2018. A lot of brands released purple eyeshadow palettes from drugstore to high-end. One of them was the Makeup Revolution Visionary Eyeshadow Palette. It’s a gorgeous purple palette! I was inspired to attempt creating 3 Eye Makeup Looks!
For this first look, I used the 2 shimmery purples as the lid colours. I was delighted with the result.
and the MegaGlo Hello Halo Liquid Highlighter in Rosy and Ready.
The second look is an all matte look. This look turned out to be my favourite, oddly. The dark matte shade on this palette looks different packed on the lid and in the outer corner. In my first look, it looked darker! I love how the shadows look different depending on the use!
I tried a different highlighter that is way out of my comfort zone: The Wet n Wild MegaGlo Hello Halo Liquid Highlighter in Halographic. It's a duo chrome highlighter with a pink undertone. I was pleasantly surprised! It's really unique and pretty!
Also, how gorgeous is this lip color. I'm obsessed! It's the Wet N Wild Megalast Liquid Catsuit Matte in Nice To Fuschia.
For this final look, I opted for the Wet n Wild MegaCushion Foundation (Wet n Wild MegaCushion Foundation Review Here). I used a more natural lipstick, The Soph Nude Lipstick in Cake from Makeup Revolution and the Highlighter Face Quad in Incandescent.
It's the first time I'm trying the Halo Eye Technique. I didn't do too bad of a job :) I just think it lacks a little blending! :) It's a bit hard to do this technique.
L1: Look 1 L2: Look 2 L3: Look 3
I was intimidated by this palette. I always hear that purple suits hazel/green eyes, but I don't know why it used to frighten me. I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone as I liked the result. I hope you like it too.
Let me know what you think;)
