Fall Photo Shoot - Get The Look!

Hi guys,

I’m Myriam Co-Founder of Orabel. I’m very excited to be back with this new blog post. It was about time we did another photoshoot. If you follow me on Instagram Myriam & The Budget, you know that I was very excited for this Fall. Usually, this is my least favourite season. I hate rain! :) But this year, I’ve been loving Fall fashion and especially skirts and tights.

So, I decided to do a mini photo shoot session in a park to take advantage of the beautiful landscape. If you know me, you are aware that I lack self-confidence. Doing a photo shoot is therapeutic. It’s a way of accepting more myself and my look.

Let’s jump into the look:

I had an outfit in mind already. So, the makeup was pretty easy to coordinate.

My Makeup:

We used a few of my old times and new favourites!

  •  Let’s start with the eyes:

I didn’t have a specific look in mind. I just wanted it to be very fall! :) The makeup artist decided to go for a couple of eyeshadow palettes. The look we ended up with is classicchic and easily re-creatable.

We used the Makeup revolution Soph Eyeshadow Palette (the first one) and the Re-Loaded Velvet Rose.

We used the shade 1 as a transition shade. The shade 3 (black) in the outer corner. The light gold shimmery shadow 4 as a lid colour. We then used the tone 2 to blend the shades 3 (black) and 4 (gold shimmers). The shade 5 was my brow bone shade.

For the lower lashline, we used the black. A thin eyeliner line was drawn with the Morphe Gel Eyeliner. We used the Makeup Revolution new mascara. I was very impressed by it. I had a beautiful volume and length.

  • For the face:

We started with the L.A. Girl Pro Matte Foundation in Beige, and Pro Matte Pressed powder in Creamy Natural. Both products are ideal for a matte base. We moved to concealer and used my favourite: Makeup revolution Conceal & Define Concealer in C2.

For contour, we took the second shade from the Contour Palette Makeup revolution and the Makeup revolution Conceal & Define Concealer in C14. It was super easy to blend. Cream contour is the way to go for a natural look.

If you follow me on social media, you know that my favourite blush ever is The Makeup revolution The Matte Blush Fusion.

We received a new highlighting palette from Makeup revolution Incandescent a couple of weeks ago. It’s stunning. Even the famous Youtuber Tati felt in love with it. We used the bottom left shade.

My lipstick was the Renaissance Lipstick in Awaken from Makeup revolution.

  • The hair:

I just straightened my hair by myself!

  • My outfit:

I choose to wear a white cropped top and a faux leather skirt, both from Forever 21 and under 25$ ( I believe 22 and 24).

My over the knee boots are from The Bay, and the brand is Lexie & Abbie. I got them on sale for 50$. My tights are thrifted and got them from my number one fan, my beautiful mum!

  • My jewelry:

The chain I’m wearing is my mom’s. It’s a 25 years old gold chain. It’s very trendy at the moment so check your mum’s jewelry box for hidden gems! ;) My pendant necklace is from a Canadian Etsy shop: Potion Number 9. In addition to my wedding ring, I’m wearing a set of 3 colour rings that I got from Tunisia. And finally, 2 dainty rings from another Canadian Etsy shop. Oh, I almost forgot, my earrings are my little sister earrings. She got them when she was born, but she has allergies. So, I inherited them! :)

I hope you enjoyed!
