A few weeks ago, I had the chance to participate in a photoshoot for Orabel. Being very shy, having confidence issues and never done a photoshoot before, I dreaded the session enormously.
I had a global idea of what I wanted: Be myself but glamorous and get out of my comfort zone. Having zero experience, I also wanted a photographer who could guide me. I needed someone to tell me exactly what to do. I think that the most important thing when preparing a shoot is to choose your photographer and makeup artist! For my part, I chose them by scrolling on Instagram, of course;) (my favorite social network!). I was really very lucky and I am enormously grateful to Alexia and Koly (I will put their account Instagram down). The 2 were very, very patient and knew immediately how to put me at ease!
The first look that I wanted to share with you in this blog post is very appropriate in this holiday season. This look was made last. I had a lot of fun doing it! I was much more comfortable and I admit that I find the outfit super fun. I love the rock style with the skirt. The outfits were chosen by me and the makeup too.
I wanted a smokey eye for this outfit and more particularly a purple smokey eye! In my everyday life, I never do it and I do not know how to do it. But I always loved the sexy and a little edgy vibe that this makeup brings!
For the eyes, I wanted at all costs to use the Palette 35P of Morphe Brushes. I love this palette but I am always intimidated to use it. Alexia chose the False Eyelashes in Melrose Av also from Morphe. For complexion, we used Morphe's 9C Palette for contouring and the Makeup Revolution blush and highlighter palette Goddess.
I love the color that Alexia chose for my lips, it's the Morphe Liquid Lipstick in Bloodshot.
For the outfit, everything came from forever 21. I love it! And it really was really a bargain!
If you have any question regarding the makeup, the look or anything else, please let me know by DM me on Instagram, I will be glad to answer it!
