Myriam's picks!

Hi, everybody! I’m Myriam, Founder, and Vice-President of Orabel. For today’s blog post, I thought I will share with you some of my favorite products that I use on daily bases but also on nights out.

So, first of all, I like a lot of things but I am not a MUA, so I try to keep it easy and simple.

I will begin with face products and everyday use. Something I have been loving this month is the City Color Sunkissed Trio in Bronzed Peach. I think it’s really underrated product. I love the bronzer! I don’t contour on a daily base and I like my bronzer to be not too orange but warm. For me, a warm bronzer mimics the best a sun tan! I use this product every day. The blush is peach, I pair it with gold eye makeup. I don’t use the highlighter at this time but it’s really gorgeous. It’s a beautiful gold and I think it will look stunning in the summer after a holiday by the sea.

For highlight, I use the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Radiant Lights. It’s glowy and subtle at the same time.

For blush, I rotate a lot. I use all Makeup Revolution Matte Blush and the blush palette in Goddess. I also like a lot the city color Pro glow Matte Blush Palette.

For concealer, I use the L.A. Girl Pro Concealer in Yellow, Natural, and Creamy Beige. It seems a lot, but I really have been struggling with dark circles! I have a yellow undertone so I also like to mix a little of the yellow corrector with my foundation. I wanted to keep it real and be totally honest with you!

As you noticed, I didn’t mention any foundation, Unfortunately, I have combination skin so the L.A. Girl foundation is not a good match for me. Everybody loves it so much but I can’t wear it.

Let’s talk about the eyeshadow. For every day, I appreciate small palettes a lot. I find them really convenient and I tend to be really intimidated by big palettes so, I keep them for nights out. I keep my eyes neutral. I like Golds, Browns, Olives, Bronze and Oranges. I really like all the Iconic Palette by Makeup Revolution. I also love the Essential Matte and the Girls On Film. I have been loving the matte shades from Makeup Revolution, I find them amazing. I have a lot of palettes to choose from. But don’t feel like you need to. The advantage of drugstore price palettes is that you can experiment with few without breaking the bank.

Let’s move now for evening looks. Since I will have more time to get ready, I will be more enthusiastic to play with bigger eyeshadow palettes. I have been obsessed with my Morphe 35OM and hopefully, it will be back in stock soon. We know it's frustrating and we are sorry about that. I use it alone for an orangy, matte look or I mixed it with Morphe Brushes Pressed Pigments. My favorites are 5 Star luxury, Kill The Lights, Coffee and Drama, Rodeo Drive, After Glow and On The Rocks. They are so smooth and pigmented! I’m trying to incorporate more plum to my eye look. I have dark green/hazel eyes and I read that it’s a MUA tip to use plum to enhance it! So I’m attempting to use more my 35P palette from Morphe Brushes.

For highlight, I use the L.A. Girl Strobing powders. I use the 110 Watt, it’s a champagne color so it goes with everything. I also use 40 watt which is a peach highlight and pair it with coral blushes. I really like this one but I find unique.

You noticed that I didn't mention any lipstick! I probably wear lipstick twice a year. I'm not a fan :). I don't like the feel of liquid lipsticks and I don't like to re-apply!

Those are the products I had been enjoying. I hope you like the post and don't hesitate to comment if you want to see a particular swatch! ;)
