Makeup Revolution New-Trals vs Neutrals: Swatches and Description!
Posted on November 20 2017
The New-trals vs neutrals palette is a gorgeous palette perfect for warm tones lovers!
You can achieve various looks since it’s a mix of cool and warm: browns, bronze, reds, oranges, rose gold and pinks.
It has all you need for a complete eye look. A couple of matte and shimmer highlighting shades as well as a couple of dark mattes and shimmer shades to darken a look! You can easily achieve an all matte neutral look to a smokey date night look!
In this blog post, you will see close up swatches and a quick description of each shade! It contains 2 rows and 16 shades. A mix of mattes, satins, and shimmers.
We will start with the first row:
The first shade on the left is a shimmery champagne shade. It’s perfect for a brow bone highlight or an over the lid color to brighten up your eyes. It will be close to the skin tone of many people but it actually translates to the lid beautifully.
The second shade is a matte cool soft brown color, perfect as a transition color.
The third shade is a light shimmery orange.
The fourth color is a satin finish medium orange with a more warm twist than the previous one. It’s perfect for an all over the lid color and works just as fine as a crease shade. Orange, earthy tones are trendy so this shade is perfect to achieve this kind of look.
The fifth shade is a gorgeous matte camel brown. It’s the perfect warm brown. Beautiful as a transition and outer the corner color. You can sheer it out or build it to get the exact same color as the pan.
The sixth shade is a dark warm orange with a hint of red with little particles of shimmer.
The seventh shade is beautiful red. It’s almost like a duo-chrome. It’s a hard to explain color. Hopefully, the swatch will pick it up.
The eighth shade is a matte warm dark brown. A dark matte color is always handy to darkening your outer V for more dimension or for a smokey eye.
Let move to the second row!
The first shade on the left is a cream matte shade. It’s perfect for a matte brow bone highlight and amazing over a lid color if you are looking to achieve a matte more neutral look.
The second shade is a light shimmery pink.
The third shade is also a shimmery pink but it’s darker.
The fourth shade is a beautiful rose gold. Love it!
The fifth shade is a medium matte brown. It’s actually on the cooler side and perfect as a transition and layering.
The sixth shade is a shimmery taupe color.
The seventh shade is a dark cool matte brown.
The eighth shade is an eggplant/dark mauve color with fine gold shimmer.
